Whisky Cake

Asher's family Bakery dates back to 1877, but the delicious whisky cakes were first made in 1999. Single then, those moist fruit cakes laced with various styles of whisky have won many awards.

Try one with your favourite style choosing from Island, Highland or Speyside cakes. 

Ingredients

Fruit Mix (50%)(sultanas, currants, orange peel, cherries, glucose-fructose syrup, invert sugar, lemon peel, acidity regulator:citric acid, colour: fruit and vegetable juice) Wheatflour (with added iron, calcium niacin and thiamine), egg, unsalted butter, malt whisky (7%), granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable shortening (palm oil, rapeseed oil, emulsifier: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids), humectant: glycerine, malted barley flour, salt, mixed spice.
