This single malt was distilled in 2008 at the Tormore distillery  - one of the first Speyside distilleries to be built in the 20th Century. It was matured for 15 years, including a period of finishing in a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon before being bottled by Alistair Walker for his Infrequent Flyers collection, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 

Nose

Rich, dark layers of fruit loaf, boozy sultanas, toffee apples, and cinnamon pastries.

Palate

Heaps of juicy raisins and sultanas, generously sherried fruit cake, toffee, and cacao.

Finish

Sweet, warming spices linger, with cinnamon snaps and candied ginger.
