Tomintoul Tempranillo Cask Finish

ABV: 40% 70 cL

This small batch bottling of Tomintoul has been created by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex0bourbon American oak barrels, which were then married and finished in hand selected Tempranillo wine barrels sourced from Spain. This process of 'finishing' creates a beautifully rich, complex and full-flavoured single malt, bottled at 40% ABV.

Nose

A bouquet of strawberry jam, cinder toffee, syrup sponge cake and cooked fruits with vanilla and chamomile highlights.

Palate

A wash of mixed berry compote, brandy snap biscuits and custard pastries married with white pepper, toasted oak and cappuccino coffee.

Finish

Cosy impressions of dark chocolate, raspberry and stem ginger fading into an espresso and roast chestnut linger.
