Tamnavulin Distillery, opened in 1966 in the village of Tomnavoulin in Speyside, is known for producing a soft, approachable single malt geared toward easy drinking and blend-friendly character. Using modern production methods, long fermentations, and tall stills, it creates a light, creamy spirit with gentle notes of vanilla, toffee, orchard fruit, and malt sweetness. In recent years, Tamnavulin has become more visible as a single malt, often finished in sherry, red wine, or other casks to add richness and depth.
