Situated in the town of Keith in Moray, Strathmill Distillery is sitting quietly on the banks of the River Isla. This single malt was filled into a cream sherry hogshead on the 7th of April 2015 where it spent 11 years maturing. 

Bottled on the 21st of July 2026 by Little Brown Dog, at natural "Haribo peach sweets" colour, natural cask strength and without chill filtration. Limited to 286 bottles.

Old oak furniture, rowan jelly, Grand Marnier.

Palate

Custard doughnut, pink grapefruit, port glaze.

Sancerre, pear soda, mace.

Strathmill Distillery, founded in 1891 in the Speyside town of Keith, is a quiet workhorse of the Scotch industry, best known for supplying its light, grassy spirit to blends. Originally a corn mill before its conversion, the distillery produces a delicate, subtly fruity whisky shaped by long fermentation, gentle distillation, and maturation largely in refill bourbon casks. The resulting style leans toward soft vanilla, cereal sweetness, fresh orchard notes, and a clean herbal edge. Though rarely seen as a single malt outside occasional independent bottlings or its Flora and Fauna release, Strathmill has a loyal niche following for its understated, classic Speyside elegance.
