SRV 5 takes its name from the Vat in Thompson's Bros. bonded warehouse on Station Road - Station Road Vat no. 5. where they are resting their blend after vatting. 


This malt is a bright and fresh spirit with plenty of texture and a hint of smoke. Bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 


Only 800 bottles per batch. 

Nose

Galia melon, lemongrass, apricot, cucumber, waxed lemons, green peppercorns and capers in brine, green apples, lime cordial, grapefruit bitters, green peppers, coastal peat and beach bonfires.

Palate

Greengage, canteloupe melon, banana smoothie, lemon oil, grapefruit juice, capers, lemongrass, thyme, 1st press olive oil, candle wax and gentle smoke.

Finish

 Lemon balm, thyme, camphor, earthy peat and gentle smoke, long with a coating waxiness.
