Speyside 22 Years Old Blended Malt Rare Find

ABV: 46.1% 70 cL

This ‘teaspooned’ malt whisky has been sourced from a legendary Speyside distillery that was founded in 1892. It has been finished for 14 months in a medium-charred, American oak 1st fill oloroso sherry cask produced in partnership with Bodegas Barbadillo.

Bottled by Gleann Mòr Spirits without chill-filtration or artificial colouing. 

Nose

The nose presents crisp apple and gently poached pears, unfolding into layers of tinned fruit cocktail and peaches in syrup. Soft, juicy sweetness is balanced by a subtle freshness, creating an inviting and layered aroma.

Palate

The fruitiness continues on the palate, with perfectly ripe fruit layered alongside rich, runny golden syrup and juicy fresh apricots.

Finish

The finish is long and sustained, with rich notes of tinned fruit gradually giving way to dusty oak. Delicate hints of white pepper add subtle warmth and complexity.
