Speyburn, founded in 1897 in the Speyside town of Rothes, is known for producing a bright, approachable style of single malt. The distillery sits in a sheltered valley and draws its water from the Granty Burn, giving the whisky a clean, fresh character. Speyburn’s spirit is typically light, citrusy, and gently sweet, with green apple, malt, and soft herbal notes. Long fermentation and traditional methods keep the flavour crisp and lively. Often understated, Speyburn has a loyal following for its easy-drinking, classic Speyside profile.
