Smoke Without Fire is a delicately smoky single malt and a proud addition to Lochlea’s core range. Evolving from the Ploughing Edition, this expression is matured in a combination of ex-peated refill Bourbon barrels and red wine casks, offering a beautifully balanced profile of soft red fruits, floral sweetness, and gentle bonfire smoke. This whisky captures the subtle complexity of peat influence
without overpowering the spirit’s natural elegance.

Bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 

Nose

Sweet red berries, flowers in bud, cherry blossom, lemon peel, and soft smoke.

Palate

Salty sea smoke, fresh cut oak, bonfire char, light citrus, light delicate fruit, a hint of sherbert.

Finish

Light char, soft blossom, gentle to finish, and fresh phenols.
