Orchard & Oak is a bright, fruit-forward single malt and a proud new addition to Lochlea’s core range. Matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon, Virgin American Oak, and Calvados casks, it delivers vibrant notes of fresh apple, buttery caramel, and sweet oak, with a soft, grassy freshness and a smooth, spiced finish.

Bottled at 46% ABV, at natural colour and no chill filtration.

Nose

Sweet apple notes, earthy, fresh cut grass and lightly floral notes.

Palate

Fresh cut green apples, buttery caramel, fresh grassy flavours & oaky spice. Apple cake, rich and buttery, with cream and fruit freshness.

Finish

Sweet oak, caramel, and light cereal to finish.

Located on a family-run farm in Ayrshire, Scotland, on land once farmed by poet Robert Burns, Lochlea Distillery is an independent distillery founded in 2018. The distillery grows, malts, distils, and matures its own barley entirely on-site, embracing complete control over every stage of production. Lochlea produces a Lowland-style single malt known for its smooth, approachable character, with flavours of apple, pear, cereal, and gentle spice.
