ABV: 64.1% 70 cL
To state the obvious, it's a Highland Park! Classic heather peatsmoke with a sumptuous whack of red wine, from its full maturation in a Bordeaux Barrique, this release is sure to pack a punch at 64.1% ABV. Distilled on the 28th May 2014 and matured for 10 years before being bottled on the 19th July 2024.
Only 187 Bottles have been produced.
TASTING NOTES:
| NOSE: | Wonderfully coastal with salted caramel, raisins, leather, and juicy berries. |
| PALATE: | Stewed prunes, figs, dates, cranberries, and more sea saltiness. |
| FINISH: | A lovely smokiness takes hold, with Black Forest Gateau and Lapsang Souchong notes coming through with bold tannins. |
