Robusto Cigar Malt 11 Years Old Batch 2 Private Cellars Selection

Robusto is The Whisky Cellar's Cigar Malt, a blended malt Scotch whisky created to sit alongside a good cigar, a strong coffee or a square of dark chocolate. As a blended malt, it is made only from malt whisky, drawn from more than one distillery, and the distilleries are not disclosed.

This is the second batch. Where the first release was 8 years old, Batch 2 steps up to 11 years, matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads.

The aim is a whisky with enough weight to stand up to a cigar, bringing together sweet, smoky and savoury character, though it is every bit as good on its own.
