The team at LBD are big fans of whisky generally, obviously Scotch whiskies but also world whiskies, and in particular Nordic distilling. So many exciting things are happening globally, but the Nordic distillers have found a great balance between Scottish traditions and their own distinct identity.
LBD have selected an interesting, unusual and tasty cask from Kyrö Distillery in Finland. Distilled on the 13th July 2018 and bottled by them on the 10th July 2024, this genuinely facinating Malted Rye has been matured in a Cognac Cask.
