Although this Orkney Distillery has been operating since 1798, HP didn't receive an official licence to distil until 1826. Since then This Island Distillery has been producing one of Scotland's most iconic single malts.

Distilled on the 18th February 2010, this single malt matured for 16 years in Oloroso Quarter,showcasing notes of toffee, summer berries, jam, baking spices and subtle smoke. 

Bottled on the 20th July 2026 by Woodrow's of Edinburgh for their Warehouse Reserve collection at natural cask strength, natural colour and no chill filtration. Limited to 280.

Nose

Bright orange zest , toffee, raspberry, dried apricots with roasted chestnuts and toffee, lifted by fragrant heather and a delicate aromatic smoke.

Palate

Rich and oily, opening with prunes and dates before layers of lemon zest, walnuts, coffee and caramel . Dark chocolate, leather, allspice and a gentle bonfire smoke.

Finish

Long and warming, lingering smoke with black cherry, toffee, white pepper, nutmeg and a cardamom.
