Nose

A beautiful peated spirit, gently aged for 19 years in refill wood! Charred hazelnuts, dusty peated malt/grist, burnt sage, rosemary, oily fishing ropes, tar and creels. Crushed seashells and heather smoke. Touches of fruits - quince and apple peel.

Palate

Very powerful with sharp citrus, heather honey, stewed apples, minerality - salty and wet slate. Smoke ham, anchovies and capers in brine. Malty, salty and moreish.

Finish

Sality peanut brittle, the peat stays - and is powerful-quite earthy and robust - with lingering cigar smoke.
