This single malt was distilled at an undisclosed distillery in the highland region of Scotland. It has spent the first 6 years of maturation in two re-charred bourbon hogsheads, before being re-racked into two casks that previously held Calvados Pays D'Auge for a further 4 years, developing fruity and smoky flavours. 

It was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Murray McDavid for their Mystery Malt Collection. 


Nose

Smoked apple, grass and sweet citrus.

Palate

Candied pear, coastal peat and lemon.

Finish

Sweet smoke, orchard and grapefruit.
