Woodrow's of Edinburgh
ABV: 56% 70 cL
This single malt was distilled in 2013 at the Mortlach Distillery, also known as the Beast of Dufftown, due to its rich, full-bodied spirit. It was aged for 8 years and then re-racked into a single cask, that previously held Pedro Ximenez Sherry, resulting in a rather interesting malt with notes of caramel, toasted walnuts and red berries with hints of white wine vinegar and umami on the finish.
It was bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring, at natural cask strength.
Tax included.
