This single malt was distilled at the Mortlach Distillery, known as the "Beast of Dufftown" because of its bold, Speyside malt. This single cask release has been finished in a 1st fill European oak oloroso sherry hogshead - resulting in a perfect marriage 

Bottled at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Gleann Mòr Spirits for their Rare Find Collection. 

Nose

Vanilla buttercream and toffee cups sit alongside redcurrant jelly, whilst cracked walnuts and gingerbread men join milk chocolate.

Palate

A mouth-coating arrival of cinnamon and ginger spiced plums leads into balsamic strawberries and notes of polished oak. The texture persists throughout the development, revealing orange oils, biscuit crumb and dusty oak.

Finish

Lingering with perfectly balanced fruit oils and rich chocolate..
