This single malt was distilled at the Mannochmore Distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was finished in ex-Islay casks, which previously held Caol Ila whisky, imparting sweet smoke, mellow oak spice and red fuirts into rich, fruity malt. 

It was bottled without chill filtration or artificial colouring by Murray McDavid for their Cask Craft Collection.

Mannochmore Distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery near Elgin, Scotland, founded in 1971. Mainly producing malt for blends, it also releases single malts with bright, fruity, and floral notes. The distillery uses unpeated malt and water from the Bardon Burn, with a mash tun, eight washbacks, and six stills, producing around 3.2 million litres annually. Known for clean orchard-fruit flavours and the discontinued dark Loch Dhu whisky, Mannochmore serves as a high-volume “workhorse” for Diageo.
