Macduff 16 Years Old 2008

ABV: 50.8% 70 cL

This single malt was distilled in 2008 at the Macduff Distillery, celebrated among blenders, bottlers, and drinkers for its fruity malt. It was matured for 16 years and drawn from a single Banyuls cask. The fortified wine from the South of France enhanced the malt's fruitiness while adding complexity and depth of flavour.

Bottled by Mossburn Distillers at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

Located in Banff, on the northeast coast of Scotland, Macduff Distillery was established in 1960. The distillery produces smooth, approachable Speyside single malts with a light, fruity character, featuring notes of apple, pear, vanilla, and gentle maltiness.
Macduff uses traditional copper pot stills and a combination of bourbon and sherry casks for maturation, creating a balanced and easy-drinking whisky. While much of its production is used in blended whiskies, its single malts are increasingly recognised for their delicate flavours and classic Speyside style, offering a gentle alternative to more robust regional expressions.
