Mac-Talla brand, created by Morrison Distillers, reflects the family's connection to the Islay whisky.

This release is a marriage of two casks, which previously held rum, filled in 2009 at an unnamed distillery on the Island. The rum influence imparted notes of chargrilled pineapple and papaya, brightening the palate and balancing beautifully with the peated character of the malt. Lucious and coastal with soft smoke and maritime salinity. 

It was bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
