This smoky single malt was distilled at an unnamed distillery on the Isle of Islay. It was bottled by Morrison Distillers for their Mac-Talla Collection, combining four cask types: 40% First-Fill Oloroso sherry, 37% Bourbon barrels, 15% First-Fill Bordeaux Barrels, and 8% Pedro Ximenez Butt, all married and finished together in a virgin oak, creating depth of flavour and adding notes of fruit and richness to this smoky dram.
It was bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring exclusively for Mac-Talla Lighthouse Partners.
