Longmorn 14 Years Old 2011 The Auld and the Bold

ABV: 49.9% 70 cL

This single malt was distilled in 2011 at the Longmorn Distillery, near Elgin, known for its smooth, complex Speyside malt with a heady bouquet. It was aged for 14 years and drawn from a single Olrososo sherry hogshead, creating a malt that evokes the older style of sherry-matured whisky with polished antique wood, figs, and Medjool dates steeped in old Armagnac on the nose.Orange oil glinting through the richness, lending lift to a palate layered with dark fruit compote, dusty cocoa powder, and the glow of well-seasoned oak.

Bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Berry Bros. & Rudd for their The Auld and the Bold Collection.

Founded in 1893 near Elgin in Speyside, Longmorn Distillery produces rich, full-bodied single malts known for their smooth, elegant character. With flavours of orchard fruits, vanilla, and subtle spice, its whisky is matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks. While much of its production goes into premium blends like Chivas Regal, Longmorn’s single malts are prized for their refined Speyside style.
