Loch Lomond (Croftengea) 9 Years Old Warehouse Reserve

ABV: 58% 70 cL

This single malt was distilled in March 2016 at the Loch Lomond Distillery, using peated barley. It was initially filled into a refill hogshead, before being re-racked into various American and European Oak Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Bloodtubs for finishing. 

Bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

Nose

Leather and pine, balanced with blackberries and bonfire smoke.

Palate

Mouth coating in texture. Earthy notes of charcoal, coffee, and peat, contrasting with raisins, black cherries and redcurrant jam.

Finish

Lingering smoke, toasted almonds and allspice.
