This single malt was distilled in 2011 at an unnamed distillery on the picturesque Isle of Islay (Leapfrog is a bit of a hint). It was aged in three 1st-fill bourbon barrels for the entire 13 years of maturation, resulting in notes of lemon drops, chilli, and oily peat.
It was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Murray McDavid for their Benchmark Collection.
