This single malt was distilled in 2004 at the Laphroaig Distillery, known for their heavily peated, coastal Islay malts. It was aged for 22 years in a single bourbon barrel, which brought creamy vanilla and cracked pepper notes to the classic bonfire smoke character of the malt. 

It was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Morrison Distillers.
