Living Souls
ABV: 50% 70 cL
This single malt was distilled at the Laphroaig Distillery, known for its heavy, medicinal peaty malt. It was aged for 11 years in refill bourbon barrels, creating a smoky, coastal malt that will transport you to a stone bothy on Islay, where a peat fire burns low and sea air slips through the door.
Bottled by Living Souls, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
Opens with bonfire smoke, medicinal peat and treacle, lifted by warm baked bread.
Iodine, lemon curd and well-fired crust, balanced by ashy smoke and a faint herbal note.
Full yet almost dry, carrying a long, smouldering finish that captures Laphroaig's uncompromising coastal character.
Tax included.

Founded in 1815 on the southern coast of Islay, Scotland, Laphroaig is world-famous for its intensely peated single malt whisky. Known for bold flavours of smoke, iodine, and sea salt, it remains one of the most distinctive Scotch whiskies. Using water from the Kilbride Stream and peat cut from local bogs, Laphroaig still operates traditional floor maltings. Its signature 10 Year Old, along with expressions like Quarter Cask and Lore, reflect the distillery’s rugged coastal heritage and uncompromising Islay character.
