This single malt from the Lagg distillery on the Isle of Arran was matured in 100% first-fill bourbon barrels. Unlike its sister distillery, Arran, Lagg uses peated barley for the ultimate coastal experience. 


Bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

Heather smoke and charred citrus.

Palate

Initial burst of fruit gives way to subtle bonfire smoke.

Lagg is the sister to the Arran Distillery, built on the opposite side of the island. The construction began in 2017, with the first spirit running through the stills in 2019. Unlike its sister, Lagg uses peat heavily in their distillation to create robust and maritime malt.
