This 8-year-old cask strength expression is part of Glengyle distillery’s exclusive annual release from Campbeltown. Previously, the lineup featured casks like sherry, port, and bourbon. This edition is matured in bourbon casks and, true to tradition, is bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration or added colouring, preserving its authentic character.

Nose

A typically zesty introduction to this dram, there are notes of key lime pie, apple jelly, honey and vanilla.

Palate

There is a creaminess on the palate, with notes of banoffee pie, vanilla custard and panna cotta.

Finish

Sea salt and brine notes emerge in the finish, along with a gorse note.
