This is the 13th instalment in Kilchoman's 100% Islay range.


Distilled with barley from the 2012, 2013 and 2014 harvests, it's aged for a minimum of 8 years in 44 ex-bourbon barrels. The result is a nuanced whisky with layers of caramels, vanilla, and butterscotch in a perfect harmony with its underlying citrus sweetness and peat smoke.

Nose

Malt loaf, toffee apple, banana bread, citrus, lavender, pear drops, sea salt and hints of peat smoke.

Palate

Fresh vanilla and fragrant peat smoke with caramel, barley blossom, sultanas and hints of spicy oak tannins.

Finish

Silky viscosity with fresh crumpets, butter and honey.
