Invergordon Distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands, was established in 1960 and is primarily known for producing grain whisky. Unlike malt whisky distilleries, Invergordon uses continuous column stills to create smooth, light grain whisky that often serves as a key component in blended Scotch whiskies. Owned by Whyte & Mackay, the distillery focuses on high-volume production and has played an important role in Scotland’s whisky industry for decades.
