This single malt was distilled in 2012 at the Glentauchers Distillery near Mulben in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was matured for 12 years, including a 4-year finishing period, in a single Virgin oak barrel. 

Bottled at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Alistair Walker for his Infrequent Flyers Collection. 


Nose

A concentrated combination of coconut, rum babas, crushed digestive biscuits and foam banana sweets.

Palate

Initially quite spicy, and then comes the sweet intensity of the virgin oak - crisp cannoli shells, buckwheat honey, Demerara sugar and crème brûlée.
