This single malt was distilled in 2007 at the Glenrothes Distillery, known for its elegant, smooth Speyside whisky.  It was matured for 19 years in a rejuvenated hogshead, creating notes of shortbread, honey and marzipan, balanced with luscious yellow fruits. 

Bottled in 2026 by Thompson Bros. at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.  

Nose

Spicy grapes, crystallised ginger, standing near the candyfloss machine, white pepper and meadow flowers, golden apples, shortbread and buttery vanilla.

Palate

Lots of shortbread on the palate, some honey with marzipan. White grapes and baking spices continue, along with fresh hay, butterscotch and yellow fruits.

Finish

Good length with pears, apricots and grapes on the finish. A touch of lightly oaked chardonnay about this one.
