Glenrothes 16 Years Old Infrequent Flyers Batch 20

ABV: 58.1% 70 cL

This single malt was distilled in 2009 at the Glenrothes Distillery, known for its delicate, elegant Speyside malts. It was matured for 16 years, with the final 6 years spent finishing in a single Moscatel hogshead, creating notes of fruit, chocolate and ginger that balance beautifully on the palate.

It was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Alistair Walker for his Infrequent Flyers Colleciton.

Nose

Glenrothes Distillery, established in 1878 in Rothes, Speyside, produces rich and fruity single malt whiskies known for their notes of dried fruits, spices, and honey. Glenrothes matures most of its whisky in sherry-seasoned oak casks, adding depth and complexity to its flavours. Owned by the Edrington Group, the distillery combines traditional copper pot stills with small-batch craftsmanship.
