The Sinteis Series is an exploration of how different types of oak can shape and transform whisky. Each release follows its own path, with Billy Walker selecting and combining casks to build layers of flavour and character. At its heart, the series is about the balance between established maturation techniques and a willingness to experiment with new forms of wood.

This edition takes the process in a different direction. The whisky was initially matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks, allowing it to develop richness and depth, before being moved into exceptionally rare Mongolian virgin oak for a further period of maturation.

Mongolian oak is prized for its dense, tight grain and distinctive spicy influence. Its contribution adds another dimension to the malt, complementing the sweetness and fruit developed during its sherry maturation.

In the glass, expect a rich combination of dark chocolate, baked orchard fruit and comforting pastry notes, with layers of spice and oak bringing balance and complexity to the finish.

Bottled at natural cask strength, natural colour and no chill filtration.
