This single malt was distilled in 2014 at the Glenallachie Distillery in the Speyside Region of Scotland. It was filled into Barolo red wine casks from the Piedmont region. The viscous spirit has developed an attractive bright russet hue, and vibrant fruitiness has woven beautifully into this succulent single malt. 

It was bottled by Murray McDavid for their Benchmark Collection, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 

Nose

Red currants, heather honey, Demerara.

Palate

Honeycomb, mixed berries, butterscotch.

Finish

Creamy malt, rose water, baking spice.
