Glenallachie 11 Years Old Single Cask Pedro Ximenez

ABV: 61.1% 70 cL

This exceptional single malt was distilled in 2012 at the Glenallachie Distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland and laid to rest for 11 years in a single Pedro Ximenez Sherry Cask. PX is the sweetest kind of sherry, adding layers of chocolate, cinnamon and sweet fig syrup to the malt. 

The cask was carefully chosen and bottled solely for the UK market, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 

Nose

Molasses, butterscotch and toffee, with mocha, rasisins, maple syrup and ginger snaps.

Palate

Rich chocolate, heather honey and cinnamon, followed by glazed cherries and fig syrup with cocoa and butter on the finish.
