This single malt is part of batch 4 of The Whisky Heroes Series from Brave New Spirits. It was distilled in the Speyside Region of Scotland at the Glen Moray Distillery, known for its fruity, light single malt, and aged for 11 years, including a finishing period in a 1st-fill oloroso sherry butt. The resulting malt shows notes of summer fruit reduction, spearmint, and warming spice with lingering menthol. 

Bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

The history of Glen Moray begins in 1897, when the Elgin West Brewery—formerly supplying the local community with ales—was converted into a whisky distillery. From the outset, Glen Moray took a distinctive approach by maturing its spirit in a wide variety of casks, an uncommon practice at the time. Like many distilleries, it fell victim to the whisky slump of the early 20th century and was forced to close between the 1910s and 1920s.
Today, Glen Moray is celebrated for its soft, approachable character, experimental cask finishes, and an affordable core range.
