Founded in 1958 by Chivas Brothers, Glen Keith was the first new distillery built in Speyside following the whisky crash of 1898. Initially, all of its spirit was produced for blending purposes, particularly for renowned brands such as Chivas Regal. It wasn’t until the 1990s that Glen Keith released its first official single malt.
Today, Glen Keith’s smooth and fruity character continues to make it highly sought after by both blenders and independent bottlers, while official single malt releases remain occasional.
