Cask Series 27 celebrates North Star's 10th anniversary, which they chose to mark by doing what they do best - bottling remarkable spirits.
This single malt was distilled in March 2008 at Glen Grant Distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. It underwent 18 years of maturation, beginning in a refill hogshead and finishing with 19 months in oloroso sherry, resulting in notes of apple turnover and double cream with cashew nuts on the finish.
Bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
Well-fired shortbread and pistachio shells.
