Glen Garioch 36 Years Old single malt Scotch whisky, distilled 18th April 1988 and matured in a bourbon barrel before being bottled on 15th January 2025. Filled when Glen Garioch was still producing a peated style of spirit, before the distillery moved to unpeated production in the 1990s, this is one of just a handful of casks that offer a glimpse of a lost style.

At 36 years old there is just a gentle wisp of smoke, with an explosion of umami flavours: smoked nuts, cured meats and brown butter, carried by an oily mouthfeel only found in such well-aged whiskies. Whisky history in a bottle. Bottled by Finn Thomson Whisky as part of the Private Cask Collection at natural cask strength. Limited to 110 bottles.
