Finn Thomson
ABV: 53.4% 70 cL
This exceptional single malt was distilled at Glen Garioch Distillery, one of Scotland's oldest continuously operating distilleries, established in 1797, on 6 October 2006. Matured exclusively in a single sherry cask, this whisky immediately stood apart for its remarkable depth of colour. Dark mahogany in the glass, it offers an early indication of the profound influence the cask has imparted over nearly two decades of maturation. Yet beneath the rich sherry character, the unmistakable Glen Garioch spirit remains beautifully preserved, delivering balance, complexity and distinctive distillery character in equal measure.
Bottled by Finn Thomson on 7 May 2026, this release is presented at natural cask strength, with natural colour and no chill filtration
Layers of dark fruits, polished oak, chocolate, spice, and dense sherry sweetness.
Poweful and balanced.
Tax included.

Glen Garioch Distillery was officially founded in 1797, although there are claims it may have been active even earlier. Like many other distilleries, Glen Garioch has changed hands multiple times over the years and has endured periods of mothballing, shifts in style, and numerous renovations. Today, this Highland gem—nestled in the heart of Oldmeldrum village in Aberdeenshire—is known for producing fruity whiskies with a distinctive touch of spice.
