This single malt was distilled in 2008 at the Glen Garioch Distillery in the Highland Region of Scotland. It was aged for 16 years, including a finishing period in a single 1st fill Ribera Red Wine Barrique. Ribera is one of the most exclusive wines from Spain, a rich and luxurious red wine. The result is a rich, fruity whisky with notes of blackcurrant jelly, vanilla fudge, strawberry and Chinese spice with a warm and spicy finish.
