Glen Elgin 19 Years Old

ABV: 53.6% 70 cL

Distilled in 2007 at Glen Elgin Distillery in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside region, this single malt spent 19 years resting in a pair of refill hogshead casks. The maturation has produced an elegant and well-balanced whisky, offering layers of ripe stone fruit, gently toasted oak, and delicate almond notes throughout the palate.

Bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Thompson Bros.

Glen Elgin Distillery was founded in 1898, making it one of the last—if not the last—distilleries established during Scotland’s whisky boom of the late 19th century. As whisky sales declined in the early 20th century, Glen Elgin experienced several closures and changes in ownership. In 1929, it became part of the Distillers Company Limited (DCL), which later evolved into what is now Diageo.
Renowned for its fruity and complex character, Glen Elgin single malt is a favourite among both blenders and independent bottlers. Though often found in blends, its unique profile shines as a single malt, offering a classic example of Speyside elegance.
