Glen Elgin was first established in 1898 in the heart of Speyside region of Scotland. Although it went through a number of ownership, Glen Elgin stayed true to it's signature light, floral and fruity flavours.

This single malt was was distilled on the 8th February 2012 and aged for 14 years, including a 3 year finishing period in first fill Ruby Port barrique, giving out the robust fruity notes, dark chocolate, red fruits, cola cubes and nutmeg.

Bottled on the 20th July 2026 by Woodrow's of Edinburgh for the Warehouse Reserve collection, at natural cask strength, natural colour and no chill filtration. Limited to 307 bottles.

Nose

Pear drops, black cherries, lemon zest and potpourri.

Palate

A burst of apple and blackcurrant flavours develops into strawberry jam, blackberries and figs. Dark chocolate and walnuts with a subtle hint of leather.

Finish

Long and gently tannic, with lingering notes of dried cigar leaves, nutmeg, ginger and cloves.

Glen Elgin Distillery was founded in 1898, making it one of the last—if not the last—distilleries established during Scotland’s whisky boom of the late 19th century. As whisky sales declined in the early 20th century, Glen Elgin experienced several closures and changes in ownership. In 1929, it became part of the Distillers Company Limited (DCL), which later evolved into what is now Diageo.
Renowned for its fruity and complex character, Glen Elgin single malt is a favourite among both blenders and independent bottlers. Though often found in blends, its unique profile shines as a single malt, offering a classic example of Speyside elegance.
