Glasgow Distillery Original Cask Strength Batch 3

ABV: 60% 70 cL

The Original Cask Strength Batch 3 was created by Glasgow Distillery using their double distilled unpeated malted barley, matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks, before a finishing period in heavily charred Virgin American White Oak from Kelvin Cooperage. This carefully considered maturation brings together bright fruit character, rich sweetness and layers of warming oak spice.

For Batch 03, the distillery team hand-selected three exemplary casks of The Original and married them together for a limited outturn of just 750 bottles.

At cask strength, the fruity heart that defines Glasgow 1770 The Original is beautifully amplified, revealing prominent notes of zesty Seville orange marmalade, dried apricot, toffee apple, poached pear and toasted pineapple. A true taste of Glasgow Distillery single malt in its most natural form.

Palate
