Glasgow Distillery

Glasgow 1770 10 Years Old Peated

ABV: 54% 70 cL

This smoky single malt was released to commemorate 10 years of distilling peaty whisky at the Glasgow Distillery. The first malt flowed through the stills in 2015, shortly followed by another milestone - the first distillation of peated spirit, which took place in 2016.

This celebratory release is a marriage of three Bourbon casks with an outturn of 550 bottles. The choice of Bourbon cask maturation is a deliberate decision to celebrate the decade of maturation and give an honest spirit-forward profile to the whisky within the bottle, resulting in notes of delicate bonfire smoke that weaves through layers of honeyed sweetness, tropical fruit and citrus, with a gentle waxy texture and lingering oak spice creating a refined, elegant dram with impressive maturity.

Bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
