This single malt was distilled in 2007 at the Fettercairn Distillery, celebrating our local distillery and Scotland's unique geology. The label was inspired by old red sandstone, which lies beneath the Fettercairn Distillery, formed over 400 million years ago. 

We selected this malt for its beautiful balance, shaped by a Torres red wine cask finish, which brings layers of ripe fruit, gentle spice, and rich depth.

Bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Finn Thomson exclusively for our shop.

Fettercairn was founded in 1824 by Alexander Ramsay near the village of the same name in the Highland region of Scotland. The distillery is known for its unique copper stills, which feature a cooling system that enhances the flavour profile of the whisky. Fettercairn's whiskies are typically smooth and rich, with a combination of fruity, spicy, and sometimes tropical flavours.
