This single malt was distilled on the 7th of October 2008 at the Fettercairn Distillery. 

Fettercairn has one of the most unique distillation styles in Scotland. They cool the head of the still during distillation to increase the reflux of the heavier components of the spirit. The result is a tropical, fruity style of whisky that would almost be more suited to the Caribbean than the foothills of the Grampian mountains.

It was aged for 15 years in a single Hogshead, which showcases all that tropical fruit. This refill American oak hogshead imparts a subtle vanilla, gently lifting the natural fruity character of the distillery. Bottled by Finn Thomson at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
