This aged rum was distilled at the Engenhos Do Norte Distillery in Madeira, Portugal. Produced in the traditional 'Agricole' style from sugar cane juice, pressed in a traditional steam-powered mill and distilled in a single column still and aged in oak for seven years.
Expect notes of ripe peaches, grapefruit segments, shaved hickory wood, spearmint tea and fresh vanilla pod.
